Blaster Drag Chassis

This is the new CPC rigid drag chassis setup for the Yamaha Blaster.  The chassis is stretched 14" in the front and 8" in the rear.  It incorporates a CPC alum. gas tank that holds 1 1/4 gallons of fuel.  The motor that is being used in the chassis (not shown in these pictures) is our new 305cc blaster engine.  The bike was intended to be very light so that it would be a strong contender with the mid-upper 4 second banshees and 250R's.  The bike weighs in at 140 pounds with fuel and ready to race.

We recently went to a smaller motor (246cc) to do some r&d on a new setup and got some new track times with the bike.  Below is a time slip (C. Patterson) that was ran on motor only with no nitrous.  The bike backed this pass up with a 4.57, but the time slip didn't print so we don't have it to post.  It was the first time to the track with the new motor and right off the trailer it went 4.85 and then on to 4.7 and then on to the fastest two passes which were the 4.61 and then the 4.57.  Time didn't allow for a nitrous pass or more tuning on the motor.  We feel there is still more to be had on motor with some fine tuning.
